The Marin District Attorney’s Office is a proud sponsor of the Marin Gun Safety Collaborative, which has developed a new website as a new resource for how every community member can take meaningful steps to prevent firearm tragedies in our community.  It includes information about how secure storage of firearms and gun violence restraining orders (GVROs) can save lives.

Free Gun Locks Available at Marin County DA

Gun Safety starts at home. Free Gun Locks are available at the Marin County District Attorney's Office.

According to BRADY- Every day, 8 children or teens are unintentionally injured or killed due to an unlocked or unsupervised gun in the home.

Contact the Marin County District Attorney's office at (415) 473-6450, or stop in between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday if you would like to pick up a free gun lock.
